Description: This place will take you back to the streets of Mexico City, where you can sample various tacos from various vendors (well maybe not as cheap 🙂 The tacos are delicious, our favorite is the beef and fried fish ones. The sauces can be a bit spicy.

Description: From the outside you would never guess at the beautiful place you would be walking into. The place is grand, with huge ceilings and beautiful decor. Their brunch is excellent and very reasonably priced. Get the Chicken Karaage & Matcha Waffles or Salmon Scrambled Egg Donburi.

Description: This place is mostly frequented by locals a no frills bar/restaurant that has one of the best pizzas in NYC. Also try their black ink pasta or the chicken Milanese you will not be disappointed.

Description:This place is tiny, but the ramen is one of the best in the city. There is typically a very long wait, but you may get lucky. Very good place to go to in the winter.

Description:Becoming one of our favorite Israeli places in the city. Do not go for dinner, we were not impressed, but Brunch is excellent (plus the best hummus in town). Get the Sabich for brunch.

Description:Excellent Korean food prepare to be stuffed. They use real charcoal grills and the meat is awesome. Usually great for large groups, but if we are hungry (which is usually the case) we sometimes go the two of us.

Mamoun’s Falafel

Type:Falafel (Egyptian Style)

Description:This place is tiny and typically people come here after going out on a drinking bender. It has been there since 1973 and is one of the city’s best falafels. Lots of college kids all around so don’t expect a high end experience 🙂
